About Us
Unicorn’s South African roots date as far back as the 1910’s. Unicorn moved from London to Singapore in 2010 and remains an integral part of the history of the Group. The Unicorn emblem and red, blue and white colours have been a familiar sight on international waters for many years. The name is synonymous with high quality and excellent fleet standards.
Recently and as part of a strategic decision to reduce our exposure to the tanker segment, the Unicorn operating fleet has been reduced to one owned medium range tanker that is 50,140 dwt in size. This tanker carries petroleum products, which include both clean products, such as petrol, diesel, jet fuel and naptha, and dirty products, such as heavy fuel oil however she does not carry crude oil. She is currently employed under a bareboat charter arrangement.

Unicorn Tankers provide shipping services for the transportation of petroleum products along the Southern African coast as well as East and West Africa. The division operates time-chartered tankers to service the shipping requirements of various oil majors and other local charterers. Unicorn Tankers is contracted for sale to a third party.
